TYPES OF A.I

Siri and Alexa are two examples of virtual assistants.

The cognitive and problem-solving abilities of general artificial intelligence would be on par with those of humans. Unfortunately, there is currently no such level of AI, and it is still up for debate.
- ARTIFICIAL GENERAL INTELLIGENCE: Similar to human intelligence, artificial general intelligence (AGI) is the capacity to fully understand, acquire, and apply information across a wide range of topics. With its cognitive skills—reasoning, creative thinking, and problem-solving—AGI could be able to adapt to different environments and pick up new activities without the need for special programming. AGI is still only a theoretical idea that hasn’t been implemented.
- SUPERINTELLIGENCE: AI systems that are superior to humans in every way are referred to as superintelligent. These fantastical machines would be significantly smarter than humans, which would enable them to solve challenging puzzles, produce ground-breaking discoveries, and possibly even change the course of human civilization. In the area of AI ethics and philosophy, superintelligence is still a subject of conjecture and discussion.
